Hamptons with the Hills

PART FOUR: THE FINALE
Saturday morning Wesley & I went to a sidewalk art sale in East Hampton, I was looking for "paper" for our Anniversary gift. A lot of pretty things but most were about $2,000...a little more than I wanted to spend. Then we walked down to a Carnival that was going on. It was awesome!
I got to do Spin Art & Welsey got a Sno-Cone.

There were animals, slides, food, and games. We also got in the photo booth and took some silly pics.

We worked up an appetite so for lunch we went back to the bar we went to on Friday night, CittaNuova, and had Pizza.

And of course had to stop at Dylans Candy Bar for something sweet!

Headed back to the car we passed the Trina Turk store and I just had to go in. I found this print in a pair of shorts and skirt and loved them both so much that I couldnt make a decision on which I wanted soooo I left with nothing. SAD! I think everyday Im going to call and order it to be shipped to me. BUT I did get a pic of the oh-so-cute fitting room. I just love the patterns on her clothes and her furniture!

That afternoon we rented bikes to go look at more houses

and just happened to run across this cute little girl selling lemonade thank goodness!

While we were getting ready for our Anniversary Dinner, we popped the champagne and Wesley gave me a card.

In it was a traditional Love Letter (paper) with so many gushy lines I know you dont want to hear. ; )

And also Tickets to see John Mayer in September. YAY! He is such a great husband, I love him!!!

We went to dinner at Nick & Toni's. We had been looking at their menu for 3 days and finally bit the bullet and are so gald we did. We had the Fried Zucchini to start and then Wesley had an awesome steak and my scallops tasted like butta!

Check out that herve leger!!! Whew!
The bartender became our friend and hooked me up with this awesome strawberry cucumber mojito and then surprised us after dinner with this little dessert shot.

Wesley tried to be grown and order an after dinner coffee, I talked him into getting the one with the Baileys and Kahlua and it was so strong neither of us could take it down. We will stick to what we do best from now on!

This was the best meal yet! Im so glad we chose Nick & Toni's for our First Year Anniversary Dinner. Sunday we flew home to eat some of our top layer cake and then crashed! We had so much fun and will always remember our trip!

BY THE WAY.... I feel like 10 years from now this is what my anniversary post will look like...

Hamptons with the Hills

PART THREE:
On Friday, after an outdoor shower, Wesley and I headed out to the furthest tip of Long Island to Montauk. We stopped along the way to take in the view.

We went to the lighthouse.

Climbed to the top

got tired had to stop

finished climbing to see this view

While we were up there we noticed a photo shoot taking place on the beach, so of course we made our way there to see the model!

We then had lunch at Topsides at Gosmans Dock. We were told to go here and have a mudslide...so thats exactly what we did.

After lunch we decided it was time to hit the beach

Here is our sad little spot...wah..wah...wahhhhh

We went for a walk on the beach to see all of the houses and then hopped in the car to drive around and look, but thats another post!
That night we went to dinner at Turtle Crossing, it was cute and casual and RIGHT across from our hotel! We stayed in east Hampton both Friday and Saturday night.

We ended our night at a little bar in the East Hampton Village.

*** Sorry I tried to make this only 3 parts, but we did so much and I cant let you miss any of our activities. Soooo, part four- THE FINALE tomorrow! : )

Hamptons with the Hills

PART TWO:
On Wednesday when Wesley go there we were all so happy to see him. He looked so cute driving up in our Impala we rented.

We celebrated his arrival with a bottle of wine on the beach before our lobster dinner.

Thursday we went to explore South Hampton together.

Did a little shopping at J. Mclaughlin and Wesley's new favorite swim trunk store Vilebrequin

This place looked so fun we had to go in for an afternoon drink & snack

Thursday night we went to a restaurant in Sag Harbor called Beacon. Jen & John went there earlier in the week and spotted Michael J Fox. We had no celeb sightings, but the food was amazing and the location was right on the water.

*The nice lady that took our pic couldn't get Wesleys whole head in.

When we came out of dinner we couldnt help but notice the cars surrounding the Impala.

We weren't quite ready to call it a night so we went by a wine store and bought the wine we both loved from dinner, it was a Rose from the Wolffer Winery in Sagaponack, NY, and headed to the beach!
We were the only people out there and it was a perfect way to end such a wonderful night.

Hamptons with the Hills

PART ONE:

* i know not the best pic, but with kids you have to take what you get!!
We are home from our wonderful trip and I cant wait to share our travels with you. I flew up to New York with the family I nanny on Friday July 23rd.
Reese was pretending she was in First Class.....with DORA!

They have a wonderful house in Bridgehampton. They are 2 miles from the beach and surrounded by farmland. It is so quaint and relaxing out there, no wonder all of the people from New York go there for the weekends. I spent the first part of the trip "working".....
We had a water balloon toss on the beach one day

Stuart, 10

We went on walks to find shells then Lanier and I decorated them

Lanier, 8

We went shopping...Lanier found LILLY!

We went to the Farmers Stands to get fresh produce to cook at night.

This stand was pictured in the one of the recent Martha Stewart Living Magazines.
We spotted Wildlife in the backyard.

And built Sand Mountains!

Reese, "2 and a half"
It was so fun to join the Gordons on their vacation....but I couldnt wait for Wesley to get there!
