April Recap

April started off with Kate's Bachelorette Party down in St. Simons Island. We rented a beautiful house on the beach, and after a terrible experience with GA Beach Rentals (I would not recommend), we finally got into the house and started the party!

33 weeks on a bachelorette party!
I had so much fun with all of Kate's beautiful friends.

At Brogens we ran into my father-in-law
Whitney and I made these cute Hangover Bags for the girls
They included face wipes, hair ties, tylenol, mints & gum.
I ordered the bags from this etsy shop.

We ate lunch at The 4th of May and dinner at The Rooftop at Ocean Lodge.

It was such a beautiful night and of course we ended up at Ziggys that night!

All the Sister-in-laws in our bubble necklaces
And while I was down there I got to sneak in some time with Meredith's baby, David!

On Monday when I got home the movers were ready to pack us up and move us to Columbus
34 weeks moving towns
We dropped our stuff off and headed back across the state to Athens, Ga for the Luke Bryan/Jason Aldean concert at Sanford Stadium.

We got invited to attend the opening cocktail party for Art in Bloom in columbus with James Farmer.
We were excited to meet some young people that live in our new city.
We also celebrated Wesley's birthday this month. He got a new bike for the big day.
Here I am 36 weeks preggo!
I even got one more trip back to Atlanta to visit with my girls and paint pottery.
I miss them more than anything!
We also squeezed in a quick trip to Lake Martin to visit with some Atlanta friends, Trent & Alyssa and Jeff & Amy. The boys enjoyed the Relaxation Station.

I told you we have been super busy. I cant wait to share Wade & Kate's wedding with you.

Blog for Sale??

I know you are probably wondering if I sold my blog with my house. Nope! I have been a little busy, a little tired, and a little bit in a funk. I will try to be super positive and not weigh you down with my issues, but it has been a little hard to become adjusted to my new life in Columbus.
No job sounds awesome right? Well for most people yes,
but for me I loved my job (and the pay check that came with it).
There is no way I can update you on everything we have done in the past two months, but I am going to do a fast recap.
In early March, Wesley and I took a Babymoon to Highlands, NC stay at Old Edwards Inn.
It was amazing! We had so much fun just the two of us.

We went to some great dinners at Wild Thyme and Madison's and a hike through the waterfalls.
 29 weeks on a hike!
We even spent some time at the spa before we left. I would highly recommend going to the spa if you are ever close to Highlands. It was wonderful!
This is not us, just a pic from the website.
I also had a Bowtie Baby Shower in Cordele thrown by some of my friends.

 Aren't these tie cookies precious?

I was so excited to get Wesley's going home outfit from his mom.

My grandmother had this sweet blanket monogramed with "Hamp the Champ"
I also got my UppaBaby Stoller. I love it!!!

Getting to see my friends and their babies is always a highlight of my trips back home.
That same day we celebrated Wesley's brother Wade and his Fiancé Kate with a Wine & Cheese.

 30 weeks preggo!
Me and my dad.

We got to travel back down south the next weekend for Will & Caroline's Wedding.
It rained and rained, but didn't stop this crew from having a blast!
31 weeks at the rehearsal dinner
 The girls
If you have a second hop over to Vue Photography to see the amazing
Genya capture this beautiful day.

I never get to see Wesley in a tux, he looked so handsome!
The last week of March I traveled to New York City with my parents.
My dad had to go for work and so I jumped in to keep my mom company during the day.

I got to see two great friends, Jennie and Carly.

We took a Rickshaw ride through Central Park
Ate Lunch at ABC Kitchen. WOW! It was so fresh and good! Another must do!
played around in ABC Carpets for a bit
Went to see Scarlett Johansson in a play
We got to check out the Piperlime store
and see one more show Nice Work if you Can Get it with Matthew Broderick.
Dad got to join us for that one! It was really cute; and Matthew Broderick was great!
I dont have a belly shot but I was 32 weeks in the Big Apple!
That sums up March. See I told you I have been busy. I will recap April tomorrow!

Under Contract

Yep! You are seeing this right. Our first home is now under contract.

Here is the story if you don't know...
During Christmas, Wesley took a new job and we are having to move. I am not going to lie, I was really upset and sad for a while. We had only been in our house for one year and we had done so much to it to make it our home. I had planned my baby's nursery there, made good friends in the neighborhood, and couldn't imagine not being a part of Atlanta anymore. I had to tell the family that I have been nannying for 5 years that I was leaving, which was the hardest of all (most of you know how much my kids mean to me). Can you believe all of this was happening while I am pregnant?
Emotional would probably be an understatement.
After a month or so I had to put on my good wife hat and change my outlook on the situation. Wesley is really excited about this new opportunity and it will allow me to be a full-time mom to Hampton.

Where? Where are we going?
Columbus, Ga!
I dont think columbus, ga is what Kate Spade meant by this, but hey!

Now, neither of us know a lot about Columbus, but we are excited for the new adventure in our lives. We are going to rent a house there for a year and then see what we want to do. We may love Columbus and stay, or move up the road to Auburn, or somewhere else in his territory. I am just so glad to have a place to take baby Hampton once we leave the hospital.

It was so much fun to share a recap of our Home Tour with you. I wanted to show you one last time our home before we are gone. We listed the house and 6 days later we were under contract!!! What a relief for this pregnant lady.
We feel like God is truly watching over us.

I guess before we know it we will be making our second house a home and I will be able to share all of our progress with you again.
