In the Mountains

The other weekend Wesley and I went to Blowing Rock, North Carolina to spend some time with my sister and her family. 

* Warning: this post will contain a lot of pictures of two cute little boys. I just couldn't help myself.

We spent time in the cute town getting lunch, coffee, cupcakes

hunting for bears

snuggle time and wrestling

All of that fun put us straight to bed

Saturday morning started with a cup of coffee with a view

We stopped by Boone to check out Appalachian State University 

and Mast General Store 

We made it to Famous Louise's for lunch

Enjoyed a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert

Then off to Linville Falls for an afternoon hike to the waterfalls

Saturday night we went to dinner at a local BBQ place and listened to this guy sing with the guitar. 

The boys were front row the whole time!

We went for a cold walk Sunday morning before we left 

It was such a nice weekend with my family. I did not want to leave those boys.
