Pieces of our Home

I finally took some pictures around our house and will soon show you all where Wesley & I call home. This is one of my favorite pieces of furniture I got to go in our kitchen. It holds so much and looks so great with our everyday china we registered for.

I bought this at 14th Street Antiques Market, it is a great place to find big pieces.

It finally gave me a place to put our fine china. Its still in the boxes but at least its not in the guest bedroom floor anymore. (We ran out of space under the beds)

I love feeling this organized!

Go Dawgs!

We finally got to spend a weekend in Athens watching the Dawgs play, and what happens......THEY WIN! We cheered them on from downtown with friends.

I love that town! Welsey even said, "Athens is such a cool city." AH-HA I love it when he gets over his Auburn Pride and says something good about UGA!

Target Find

Not too long ago at Tar-get I found this woven basket and fell in love. They have a couple of shapes and sizes. They are the Smith & Hawken brand.

I put a plant in mine; I also think it would be great to store blankets for your living room. The chalkboard adds such a cute touch. I haven't figured out what to say on mine yet. Any Suggestions?

SwEeT SmiLEs

This past weekend I went to Charlotte to visit my sister and her sweet family. I got there on friday and picked up the boys from school, they were so excited to see Aunt Hollie.

We played on the playground

and met this little tater-tot, how freakin' cute. I had to share!

Then we went and played at their house until it was time to read books before bed.

Saturday morning we went to watch Brecken play soccer

Team Prayer...AWWW!

Krissie was ready for the water break

We took a nap and went out shopping for the afternoon and finished the day watching football.
Sunday we cooked "Goat Burgers" for breakfast. We had the best help in the kitchen. Our own little Su-Chefs.

We got in one quick game of baseball before I left. What a wonderful weekend with the sweetest nephews!

GOAT BURGERS
1 piece of bread
1 egg
butter

Heat skillet to med-high heat. Spray with non-stick spray. Meanwhile, cut a circle out of the middle of the piece of bread. (TRICK: use the bottom of a canned good to make the circle) Spread with butter. Place on skillet and crack egg in the middle. Let it cook for about 2 min*, then flip and cook for another 2 min. While it is cooking, place cut out circle of bread on skillet to toast too. Plate it and eat! *
Cook egg to your desire of done, we like ours a little runny and sock it up with the bread!

Pumpkin Project

I got these cute little pumpkins at Michaels for 40% off.

So cute but I wanted some pizzaz. I got out a Paint Pen and went to work.

Now I can use them like this or turn them to keep them white! Perfect Pumpkins!

REAL HOUSES OF ATLANTA

This weekend I'm doing something DIFFERENT and going to charlotte to visit my sister, bro-in-law, and my sweet little nephews.
I'm so excited to get to see Brecken play soccer and spend some time with them. I hope you get to do something DIFFERENT this weekend to change things up a bit.

Here is a DIFFERENT house on Sardis Drive.

They did use it to film a movie in not long ago with Sandra Bullock. I would love to see the inside...JUST CURIOUS! Can you imagine living here?
