Knuckleheads

This past weekend we ended up traveling to Auburn for the Auburn vs Arkansas game. I'm so glad we did, the weather was perfect and the game was awesome with Auburn ending in an undefeated season thus far. (they haven't played the dawgs yet! haha) Wesley's friends went in together to get a Tailgate Guys tent. It was so nice they set it all up for you, the tent, TV, chairs, table...right by the stadium! We are trying to get one of these for the Auburn vs UGA game too if you wanna get in on it!

They named the tent Knuckleheads.

Hudson was so sweet all day!

I brought pumpkin dip, and it was a hit once people knew what it was....it DID look like hummus. I saw Candice dip a tortilla chip in it and I stopped her before she took a bite! THANK GOODNESS!

REAL HOUSES OF ATLANTA

This house makes me think happy thoughts. It is so grand and beautiful sitting on Northside Parkway.

I had to take multiple pics for you to understand the GRANDNESS! I still dont know if I captured the whole house.

Who lives here? Blair Waldorf? CEO of COKE?

Happy Weekend! We are still trying to figure out if we are going to the Auburn game or staying around Atlanta for once.

Party Pumpkin Dip

This recipe is from Pampered Chef and one of my favorite fall dips. It is great for a party, girls weekend... hint hint, and tailgates. My sister made this last year and I brought it back to my roomies and it has been a hit ever since.

Serve it with cinnamon pita chips, ginger snaps, or sliced apples.

You could even serve it out of a pumpkin!

PUMPKIN DIP
for the dip:
1 can packed pumpkin (not pie filling)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup cool whip

Make the dip first and refrigerate. Mix pumpkin, sour cream, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Fold in cool whip.

If you want to be really crazy, you can make the cinnamon pita chips

CINNAMON PITA CHIPS
Cut tortillas into triangles. Brush with water and sprinkle w/ cin/sugar. Bake at 400 for 8-10 min or until lightly browned.

OR just buy the bag

Pieces of our Home

I finally took some pictures around our house and will soon show you all where Wesley & I call home. This is one of my favorite pieces of furniture I got to go in our kitchen. It holds so much and looks so great with our everyday china we registered for.

I bought this at 14th Street Antiques Market, it is a great place to find big pieces.

It finally gave me a place to put our fine china. Its still in the boxes but at least its not in the guest bedroom floor anymore. (We ran out of space under the beds)

I love feeling this organized!

Go Dawgs!

We finally got to spend a weekend in Athens watching the Dawgs play, and what happens......THEY WIN! We cheered them on from downtown with friends.

I love that town! Welsey even said, "Athens is such a cool city." AH-HA I love it when he gets over his Auburn Pride and says something good about UGA!

Target Find

Not too long ago at Tar-get I found this woven basket and fell in love. They have a couple of shapes and sizes. They are the Smith & Hawken brand.

I put a plant in mine; I also think it would be great to store blankets for your living room. The chalkboard adds such a cute touch. I haven't figured out what to say on mine yet. Any Suggestions?
